Trader Spotlight - La Mort Clothing

London-based design duo David Underwood and Faye Winslade met at Wimbledon Art School in 2005. At the time, their styles were markedly different; David was heavily influenced by psychedelic poster art from the sixties and Faye had been exploring macabre subjects involving death and elements of witchcraft.

Over time, their shared love of printmaking drew them together and eventually their artistic ideas and styles merged to form ‘La Mort’, a unique clothing brand with a focus on the morbid and mysterious.  The London Tattoo Convention talked to co-founder David Underwood to find out more…

The Art of Christopher Lovell

Christopher Lovell will be attending The London Tattoo Convention 2016 exhibiting some of his greatest works. As well as appreciating his artwork you can purchase his limited edition prints.

Christopher Lovell is a UK based artist who specialises primarily in illustration for clothing companies and band merchandise. Christopher is self-taught and his influences started very early on in his childhood where he developed a deep interest in fantasy and sci-fi. He was captivated by toys, cartoons and films which helped to fuel his imagination and which still inspire him to this day.

The Art of God Machine

The Art of God Machine, exclusive to The International London Tattoo Convention 2016.

Based upon the success of his book 'The Art of God Machine' The London Tattoo Convention has invited the UK artist to exhibit his latest work and limited edition prints. ‘Godmachine was born in Cardiff, South Wales, it was a difficult birth; his parents were in London at the time. He grew up on a steady diet of nothing, 2000AD comics, Santa Cruz skateboards and old library books of Klimt and Beardsley.
