Big Joe Bone plays the Roadhouse Stage on Friday
Big Joe Bone, aka London-born Danny Wilson, is bringing his fast and furious mix of roots, delta, gospel and hillbilly-tinged blues-rock to the Roadhouse Stage on the opening night of this September’s London Tattoo Convention.
Specialising in what he calls “blues grass”, Big Joe Bone plays cracking, hard-driving rhythms, bottleneck slide guitar and harmonica - all held together by a very heavy stomping boot.
A one-man band par excellence with a voice dredged out of a swamp, Big Joe Bone plays eviscerating tunes with x-ray precision.
A solo acoustic fiend of a musician, he’ll also be playing banjo - so come on folks, squeal like a pig!
He’s been a star of the scene since 2012, and hey, this guy was a guest star at July’s Dorset Chilli Festival so he’s clearly properly hot property.
Make no bones about it - you’re going to feel this big guy’s thumping tunes in your marrow.
Knuckle down folks and come break a leg - this live show is going to massive… As Big Joe Bone says himself, blues grass kicks ass!
