Henry’s Funeral Shoe to play Main Stage Saturday

It’s been announced that Welsh sensations Henry’s Funeral Shoe will be, ahem, kicking off proceedings and booting out some heavy rock blues with sole, sorry, soul on the Main Stage of the London Tattoo Convention on the Saturday.

Formed by two brothers in South Wales in 2008, the pair have spent the last decade honing their craft, and are now acclaimed by Classic Rock magazine as delivering “thumping good music with a timeless sound,” and “one of the few authentic-sounding British blues-rock bands” by Blues Matters.

Inspired by greats including The Who and The Beatles, and lacing in (cough) influences from the likes of Robert Johnson and Peter Green, Henry’s Funeral Shoe deliver steel-capped, stomping sounds to get you boogying.

They’ve also been given the heel, sorry, seal of approval by none other than the mighty Kiss, who they supported in the USA, as well as cult hero Wilko Johnson who they supported on his farewell tour, and legends Lynyrd Skynyrd, who they supported on a cruise (fancy!) between Mexico and Miami.

March along to the Main Stage and see them live, and discover why these guys haven’t been loaf(er)ing about when it comes to amassing an army of fanatical fans…

Henry's Funeral Shoe will play the Main Stage Saturday 29th September at 7.00pm.
