John Crampton to play Roadhouse Stage
Widely regarded as one of Britain’s best blues acts, it’s been revealed that John Crampton will be blowing up things up along with fellow blues behemoth John Fairhurst on the London Tattoo Convention Roadhouse/Gretsch Stage on the Saturday.
London-born Mr Crampton - as opposed to Wigan lad Mr Fairhurst - specialises in foot-stomping blues and bluegrass, and is a maestro of the slide guitar, banjo and harmonica.
Influenced by Howlin' Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Bukka White and more, this guy is for any connoisseurs of blues and live music full stop.
Having recently played across the globe in countries as varied as Italy, Spain, Sweden, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Greece, France and Germany, John Crampton’s live game is smoulderingly hot and ready to scorch your senses.
According to Metro, John Crampton is the purveyor of: "The finest blues you are likely to hear this side of Memphis."
So do yourself a favour - get down the front to experience this talent for yourself.
John Crampton will play the Roadhouse Stage, Saturday 29th September at 3.00pm.
