Never The Bride to play Main Stage, Saturday 28th September

The London Tattoo Convention are thrilled to welcome the exceptionally talented rock'n'roll twosome Never The Bride to play the Main Stage Saturday 28th September 2019.

Called “One of the best live bands in Britain” by no less an authority than ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris (who knows his onions on that score), UK band Never The Bride were founded in the early ‘90s by singer Nikki Lamborn (who you may have seen as a vocal coach on telly) and Catherine ‘Been’ Feeney, the main composer, keyboard player, vocalist and guitarist.

The pair originally met one another on stage in a London pub, which is clearly one of the best places to meet anybody. The band, who trade in classic rock, blues, soul, and country, have a fearsome live rep – as the likes of Roger Daltrey will tell you: “Nikki Lamborn has the best female rock voice since Janis Joplin and I know what I’m talking about, I knew Janis”.

Roger’s word not good enough for you? Try Dame Shirley Bassey, whose Get The Party Started album Lamborn and Feeney produced, has called the girls “inspirational” and said on hearing Nikki’s voice, “I got goose pimples and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up.”

They’ve also performed private gigs for Liza Minnelli and Cher – and now the London Tattoo Convention is lucky enough to have them. Give it up for the twosome that LA’s Viper Room dubbed one of their top favourite gigs of the past 21 years.

Don't miss Never The Bride performing at The London Tattoo Convention, Saturday 28th September. Tickets are now on sale!
