The Taco Truck

The Taco Truck crew create authentic Mexican dishes out of a Citroen H Fire Engine which they converted into a mobile kitchen.

They have been serving it up to festival goers for several years at events ranging from High Voltage to The Proms in Hyde Park.

The Taco Truck menu draws its inspiration from local markets in central and southern Mexico. The zingy Tilapia fish fillets with roasted cumin and fresh lime juice served in a wheat tortilla taco are highly recommended.

They’ve also created their own sauce called Guau (which is the Spanish word for ‘woof’. Really.), made with four types of Mexican chillies to deliver enough of a spicy kick, but with enough flavour to ensure its bark is worse than its bite.

The Taco Truck will be pulling into Tobacco Dock for this year’s London Tattoo Convention, September 27-28-29th.
