The Gretsch Guitar Charity Exhibition - Thank You!

The London Tattoo Convention and Gretsch partnered once again to bring visitors a unique exhibition of customised guitars.

Five tattoo artists - Julian Siebert, Maarten Emily, Oscar Hove, Xoil and Cristian Kasas - were commissioned to decorate the axes, which were auctioned off for music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins.

The guitars were featured in the Roadhouse Bar where live music from The Dusk Brothers, The Grimms and Big Joe Louis delivered bluesy vibes all weekend long.

We're thrilled to say that the guitars raised an amazing £2354.00 for charity. Nordoff Robbins says; "This is enough for 47 one to one music therapy sessions, be it to help a child with autism communicate to their loved ones, or unlock memories for someone living with dementia".

The London Tattoo Convention would like to thank Gretsch for their generosity in donating the wonderful guitars, to the tattoo artists for their time and skill in decorating them, to Maker's Mark for supporting the bar area and to Nordoff Robbins for their kind assistance during the event. Most of all, we would like to thank our supporters for bidding on the artworks and helping raise money for a fantastic cause!
