The Tattoo Thief - Win a copy at The London Tattoo Convention

To celebrate the release of Alison Belsham's international thriller sensation 'The Tattoo Thief', copies of the brand new novel will be up for grabs as part of our fantastic charity raffle - with all proceeds benefiting The Teenage Cancer Trust.

The serial-killer thriller is set in Brighton where the book's heroine, tattoo artist Marni Mullins, embarks on a grisly mission to unravel the case of 'The Tattoo Thief'.

When Marni discovers a flayed body, newly-promoted DI Francis Sullivan needs her help. There's a serial killer at large, slicing tattoos from his victims' bodies while they're still alive. Marni knows the tattooing world like the back of her hand, but has her own reasons to distrust the police. So when she identifies the killer's next target, will she tell Sullivan or go after the Tattoo Thief alone?

Author Alison Belsham is no stranger to the world of tattooing, and wears a beautiful piece of her own - a detailed three-quarter sleeve of an octopus on her arm by Matthew Gordon, a tattooer Alison first discovered at The London Tattoo Convention.

Of her connections to the tattoo world, Alison says: 'I’ve been fascinated by tattoos ever since I was a child. My grandfather was a submariner and while he was out in China in the 1930's he had spectacular dragons tattooed on each arm. As a child, I would ask to see them whenever we visited. Having always wanted a tattoo, I finally plucked up the courage to get one in 2015. The first thing I did was visit the London Tattoo Convention to find a tattoo artist. From the moment I walked through the door, I was hooked – there’s nothing so fascinating as watching tattoo artists at work and seeing the amazing and brilliant designs with which choose to adorn their skin. I now go to tattoo conventions whenever I can, so it was natural to set a scene in my book at one.'

Charity raffle tickets are just £2.50 each, or £10 for a strip of 5 - and winners can take home 2x copies of The Tattoo Thief, along with a stunning custom Gretsch Guitar and 2x tickets to The London Tattoo Convention 2019. Runners up are also in with a chance to win copies of the book.

Be sure to pick up your tickets from various sales points around the venue - we can't wait to celebrate with the winners, and raise a great amount for a fantastic cause.
